WUTS Ministries is a Christian faith-based, non-profit organization which has been serving the community since 2001. Our community outreach efforts include adopting apartment communities where residents are made up of a population of at risk families in achieving mental, social, and economical standards for successful living.   There are several common factors existing among each community adopted that threatens the well-being of the individuals and their families:
 
  • Lack of education for parents
  • Under Achieving in education in youth
  • Lack of employment
  • High Crime and drug trafficking environments
  • Financial struggles to meet basic needs
  • Mental and physical Illnesses
  • Lack of mentoring, counseling, and support
  • Transportation hardship
  • Brutal living conditions
  • Legal struggles
 
Part of WUTS’ Networking and restoration initiative in these significant matters is the Learn to Do Well (LTDW) Community Wellness Program.
