After dropping out of school in the 8th Grade, Dr. Carter,

Dr. Cynthia Carter has been preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ since 1991. She served as a chaplain in the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center under the umbrella of Youth for Christ and has preached in Women’s Correctional Institutions in the states of Texas, Virginia, and Florida. She is the founder and Sr. Pastor of, Word Under the Stars Ministries, Inc. better known as “WUTS”. This ministry has been serving communities for 19 years through the heart of evangelism and networking located in Houston, Texas. She established FOFIL (Fruitfulness of Friendship In Leadership) as part her ministry where she coaches and networks with grass-root 501c3 ministries and organizations to be effective In the community. She initiated The LTDW (Learn It! Do It!) Program which includes an After-School Program, WRAPS – Writing, Reading, Arts, Problem Solving and Special Languages to be conducted on the campus of economically challenged apartment complexes and partners with other organizations to fulfill its objectives. In addition, She serves as a Chaplin in shelters for women.

- Holds a B. A. in Business Management
- A Board-Certified Belief Therapist through the Therapon Institute
- A Board-Certified Christian Marriage & Family Therapist through the International Christian Institute
- A Certified Professional Life Coach through Life Coach Institute of Orange County and
- She holds a doctorate in Leadership Studies through ELST School of Ministry & Mentoring Academy
- And has an honorary doctorate from CICA University and Seminary.
